Two brilliant PhD students, Ania and Nina, from the EngiSCAF project, had the opportunity to participate in the highly anticipated 38th Australasian Polymer Symposium.

The symposium was held from 18-21 February 2024, and Ania and Nina made quite an impression with their innovative research work. They presented posters and gave rapid-fire presentations, where Ania talked about her research on Collagen-based freeze-dried foam-like structure with a programmed porous structure, while Nina discussed her work on Hyaluronic-based freeze-dried foam-like structure enriched with active compounds.

The event saw a massive turnout of more than 200 scientists from all around the world, including only 16 from Europe. It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to showcase their research work and learn from the best minds in the field.
